Annaleigh Amanda Ashford was born in the US. Ashford is an actor as well as a singer and dancer. Her first Broadway roles, she played the role of Essie Carmichael in Wicked Legally Blonde Hair. Ashford will return to Broadway in the month of March 2023 in which he'll be starring alongside Josh Groban opposite Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. The production will be held at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The team behind Hamilton director Jeffrey Seller and director Thomas Kail is at the leading the show. Ashford's latest performance was Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the National scandal that featured Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, as well as Linda Tripp. She was also the lead in two seasons on CBS Comedy B Positive.
