Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is a Mexican American performer, singer and actress. Sara Ramirez was brought up by her American mother and was subjected to a variety of racist taunts that made her feel unwelcome. She began to gain confidence during the 9th grade, after she took part in a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her singing. Not only did it boost her confidence, but also her goals were changed. At the age of 22, she received her degree from the Julliard School of New York. When she was 23, her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut in the film You've got Mail were both major breakthroughs. But her biggest break came when she starred in the part of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway performance of Spamalot winning not just her the Tony Award for her performance as well as a lot of critical praise. Later that year, as Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy for ABC, she gained greater appreciation. As a professional singer She has also recorded a single as well as an extensive work.
